Annie Wright's Shield yearbooks, from the first one published in 1931 to the present day, are available and searchable online through Internet Archive, a non-profit multimedia library. If you have a copy of a yearbook that is not online and would like to help us complete our collection, please contact the alumni office at 253.284.5412. Thank you!
The yearbooks should default to chronological order. Scroll down to the desired year and click on the image of the yearbook.
- Click on the full screen icon, which is a group of four arrows in the top right-hand corner.
- Click on the right or left hand page to turn the pages.
- To search, for example for a name, type in the “search inside” box at the very top of the screen and click “go.”
- If your search term appears in the yearbook, “pins” will drop to a line on the bottom of the screen. If you hover over these with your mouse, you will see a preview of the text surrounding your search term. Click on the pin itself to go to that page.
- To have the yearbook read to you, click on the speaker icon at the very right top-hand corner of the screen. Click again to stop.
